There are a large number of safety reporting apps on the market today, but Safer Jobsites is the only one that address the specific needs of the pipeline construction industry in an affordable and scalable way for our industry. The other guys charge per employee and there is a lengthy set up process each time, this may work if you only want your supers, Forman, and straws to have access but is not feasible if you want all hands to be able to report issues. Our onboarding process is as easy as entering a name and an email address and can easily be done with every hand at orientation.
In the Safer Jobsites web portal you start by setting up a jobsite, and add what management personnel will receive notifications from the employees using the app. Case Management is greatly augmented by the ability to select the medical facilities that have been vetted by the safety staff for the specific job location. The selected medical facilities are listed on the mobile app of every employee that is working on that specific job, all it takes is for them to open their mobile app and select "GET HELP" and their preferred mobile navigation app will direct them to the facility.

Near Miss
Near Hit

Environmental
All Event types have a simple interface that is easy to fill out for every employee.
A photo can be taken of the event
A Brief Description of the event
The Specific job/location they are working in
The Lat/Long of the location of the report are taken from the users GPS system. This GPS retrieval is especially useful for the environmental reports ( Ex. Silt sock is overwhelmed and sump is full).
When combined with a reporting reward program and the right safety culture these reports are an easy way for employees to participate!
On the Management side, all document follow-up is tracked and time stamped so that any administrator or manager that is related with the project can see the status of any report at any time.
